Just yesterday I was saying to Lani that we should visit Australia on our way back from Madagascar (after a lemur flipped me off at the zoo* I figured I must go to Madagascar and see if wild lemurs are so crude or if it is the degrading effect of city life).

Of course, we'll first have to schedule the Madagascar trip.

*Photographic proof of said obscenity:

Spoiler:

I literally said "hey lemur, look into the camera!" and he then made that gesture. I like to think that some zookeeper has been working in some extra training sessions.

Probably not in 2007, but travel is a priority and that's one part of the globe I have yet to see

Um, have you been to Arizona? June, really? You know it's hot, right? It isn't California hot. It's whole other planet hot. All the people I know here don't leave there houses unless it's to go to work, get in the pool, or get on a plane to somewhere more bearable for the summer. Being outside in June is so for tourists. Back me up, Scaeagles.

I completely got your back, Tracilicious. When we venture to Anaheim during the summer we just laugh at the people who find the mid 80s hot and complain. It's hysterical.

The months of June - August are why our newer vehicle has a remote starter. I'm used to the heat and can handle it, but getting into a car that's been sitting in the sun....that gets to me.

But about the topic.

resolutions....I have none. Really. I'm happy with myself, and not motivated enough about what I'm weak in to do anything about them.

hopes....I don't find myself hoping for much.

dreams....many. Most involve instant and unearned wealth falling at my feet to allow me to retire and pursue only what interests me for the rest of my life, and spoil my wife and children in a fashion they truly deserve.

I don't really resolve, but I'm up for adopting some healthier lifestyle habits, getting to the Grand Canyon for our anniversary in February, and being more social. Maybe I should make a resolution to resolve. Baby steps.

ETA: My dream trip list would be topped by Madagascar, because I'm a freak for Lemurs. Somewhere I've got a picture with one on my shoulders. They are really funky. I mean funky. :D

I have no clue just yet.

and you ask me what I want this year
and I try to make this kind and clear
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
cause I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
and designer love and empty things
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
so take these words and sing out loud
cause everyone's forgiving now
cause tonight's the night the world begins again

:)

I've decided not to do any resolutions this year. But I guess that in itself is a resolution... to not have any resolutions...
:D
