I'm at a standstill. The weight I lost has stayed off but my body has adjusted some other extra weight back to my middle. It was a nice couple of weeks having a waistline.

And, H, I feel for you and the pain your family is going through. It is a difficult place to be in.

The scale continues to refuse to give me smaller numbers, yet my clothes continue to get looser.

If you've been exercising, muscle gain might be offsetting fat loss.

A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat but the muscle is denser and will make you smaller even when the scale stays the same.

As for me, I gained 2lbs. WOOHOO! not.

After Vegas it is back to the grind.

I've been doing intervals on the treadmill, so I hope that's it.

I gained weight when I quit smoking that has stubbornly refused to come off, no matter how many pastries and Haagen Daz pints I throw at it.

I am determined to lose as much as possible before our DL trip so I am really watching my carbs and drinking lots of water, etc. Also trying to excercise more, so we'll see.

I'm on the same old unhealthy diet, but my weight is stable, and I haven't had any seizures- and my whole mental state has been much better.

The doctor that kept nagging me to lose weight and stop eating red meat died of a heart attack on the 3rd of January

Well then that is what is important!

I wondered where this thread went...Oh yeah, I was trying to block it out. :D

I have tried to make sure and do my workout every other day. It is a hit or miss. I then try to dance or ride my bike. I have not been so good at it.

I have put on a few pounds {don't ask, I don't want to know} but I also wonder how much is muscle.

I am thinking, and help me here, when I run I am building muscle instead of just burning fat? Cause, see, the legs of my jeans used to fit one way but when I run regularly, they are tight.

I am trying to get back to eating like you, LSPE. It isn't easy.

Yeah for everyone to keep it up!
