Hmmmm VD...

Well, my day was spent at my son's school. Passing out the homemade valentine's and watermelon slices that I cut into lovely little hearts to a group of lovely preschoolers... Not bad, had fun.

Then my evening..... well.... I think contracting VD would have been more fun than the horrible attempt at picking up dinner turned out to be. Apearantly if you order food to go from the Olive Garden on Valentine's night you will be waiting for 2 plus hours. No that is not a typo. My son told me yeah Olive Garden, fettucine please!!... we said sure, we'll call and pick it up. They told us to pick it up in an hour. Okay. Went to Target got my son Shark Tale... Bought the significant other Half-Life 2... good times. Drive to Olive Garden, wade through the sea of folks waiting to get a table then spend the next HOUR waiting to get food that was ordered two hours before. We finally gave up and ended up picking him up a happy meal. I was so mad. We seriously thought they were mocking us at OG. "look those people look hungry.. why don't we let 'em watch other people eat for a while and see how long it takes till we break their spirits." Jerks. I hate Valentine's day.

While I think that Moonliner's table can rival any professionals table setting (and those gifts/plans!) :snap: I would certainly be convinced that my family has somehow been abducted by aliens or has been threatened by the mafia if I came home to find that set up. Either that or they set something on fire, broke my laptop, or blew up my camcorder, digital camera and/ or video games.

Tritip, salad, asparagus - the tail end of the Westminster Dog Show, followed by the first half of Last Tango in Paris, interupted by long talks of Sartre and the evolution of sexuality, and ending in the bedroom - smiling, oblivious, giddy.

Started early...ran around madly getting the house back in order since my husband is coming home after being gone for a week...

Made 4 batches of brownies, which I then cut into heart shapes and dusted with powder sugar for Bailey and Kat's class parties...

Gave Hubby his valentine when he came home! ;) It was cheap!

He got me an MP3 - not an Ipod...but then again...I'm just not Ipod worthy! (seriously, I wouldn't do it justice!)

Oh...and the new Motley Crue CD! He rocks!

Went to school, played Valentine bingo with 28 4th graders who were hyped up on ice cream sundaes and candy...

After school, we went to do our taxes! It's always nice to get that check back from Uncle Sam! This year was really really nice!!!!!

Dropped off stupid stupid computer at Geeks.com at Best Buy....we had some nasty spy ware our Anti-Spy ware software didn't catch...it was totally blocking the internet connection....sooooooo $150 later...it'll be fine!

Dinner was at El Taco Tote...it was Buy a Taco and a Drink, Get a Taco free....Bailey and I had fish tacos (yum!)

Home...fell asleep on the couch...totally missed both Westminister and the freakin Texas Tech Basketball game.....It would have been the only one we've been able to watch broadcast this year....and wouldn't you know it....They freakin won! Beatin Number 2 Kansas...Double OT....and I was ASLEEP!!! Arggghh!!!

Hmm, never thought of that before. Are gay couples less romantic? Or just gay couples that include bi members? Perhaps they just dote on each other in different ways? You two are so cute together I'm kinda surprised at the distinction.

Oh darn me for not logging in sooner!! Hehehe...

My Valentine's Day was fairly uneventful.

I went to work, went home for a bit, met up with Steve, rushed to school, called Zap, went to class, promptly logged into LoT, sat with tears in my eyes as I was lulled into some sleepy hatred, took a break, IMed with NA, Euro (Still don't know the PC way to make that symbol, anyone care to help me out?), Zap, BTD & GD intermittently throughout the class, tried to call Steve, didn't get an answer, drank some coffee, drank some water, went to the bathroom, lather, rinse, repeat.

I was hungry after class, so right as I was about to head home to my grandma's, I decided to hit up a 24-hour diner. Ate, sat around drinking hot tea, and wrote and read.

Then I went home and passed out.

Hold Alt, 0-1-2-8 on the number pad. Or just copy and paste from a post with his name in it.
