To bad it's in Disneyworld or I would go...but being that I'm on the west coast.... :(

Matterhorn Fan 04-20-2007 12:02 PM

There's no rule that people cannot travel from one coast to the other.

katiesue 04-20-2007 12:23 PM

Well except that silly rule my bank has about writing hot checks. ;)

Matterhorn Fan 04-20-2007 12:33 PM

Well, if you're gonna be a slave to those kinds of rules, my job as an enabler is nearly impossible. ;)

katiesue 04-20-2007 12:53 PM

It would take them a few days to catch up with me right? Hmmmmm.

Matterhorn Fan 04-20-2007 01:23 PM

And then the Twilight Zone would transport you back in time...giving you plenty of options for how to solve the check issue.

The bank would never know.

Matterhorn Fans enabling abilities have worked their magic on me, and I am now signed up for this event as well. I've begun an actual walking regimen this week, and so far so good, though I need to get better shoes and and something more appropriate to wear. (You walkers/joggers out there are free to give sugestions. What's comfy and practical for this activity?)

Lash, maybe you should share your chafing remedy. ;)

My sister and I are going to walk the 6.5K!

Steph (and anyone else), let us know when you decide which Halloween party you're doing, and we'll try to coordinate that, as well! We're going to arrive the Sunday before and make a full vacation of it - with probably 'a few' trips around World Showcase to build up our reserves for the 4 miles! (Love that Food & Wine Festival!)

And when I talked with someone at the company handling the registration, she said there wasn't a limit on attendance, so I think Disney is just hoping it's not too popular - otherwise they had better consider an upper limit!
