I agree. I'm not saying it has ruined anything. Just that if anything so far built into the show is the seed of eventual ruination I think that is it.
Hiro's attempts to make things right by manipulating things through time is interesting, but potentially renders the many other storylines less interesting for being completely malleable in the future. "Oh, we probably shouldn't have done that in episode X because now we want to do Y. So let's just have Hiro go back and change it." |
As much as I do like Hiro as a character, I hope he doesn't "fix" everything. Flaws and misery make stories. They should give just enough hope to make you think "maybe" but some element of failure needs to be sown in to keep it all moving.
I hope Heroes can continue to have good writers, at least for a few seasons. |
I think Hiro has alot to go through before he starts to "fix" things. I mean he couldnt save the memory girl that he fell for in Texas. When he went back and spent time with her.
I am still waiting to see Hiro go back into the past to fight the dinosaur that Issac painted a while back... What I do think is cool as well is that Peter has Hiro's powers so he might be the one who might be doing the "fixing"... |

Well, if nothing else, the season finale taught us that Hiro was somehow involved in the inspiration for The Ring.

Parkman really needs to get better at his power.
I was really hoping for a more epic conclusion but not getting it I am still pretty happy with it. Spoiler:
