Anyone that wants in can show for the weekday meet...Tuesday the 12th is a good tentative date.

Hmmm - maybe we should hold out for the 52 Anniversary - anybody have plans for the birthday this year?

Rose and I will be at DL for the 52nd! We might even stay at a hotel near there...

Its on a Tuesday, so I won't be there.

I'll probably be there after work. Using all my vaca time for FL and hockey.

I might take the Birthday off and do a day of it ... but it's much more likely to just be the evening.

Whichever way ... there's no Zlick hotel party this year. Or next. We're giving things two years off so that the specialness kicks in again once Birthday falls on a Friday in 2009.

I don't hold out too much high hope that we can find 40 Swankers to fill a Sub at crack of dawn on Sunday, the 24th. And, unlike for a certain Carousel stunt, I'm not willing to reach across the aisle to that other message board for recruits.


Still, let's shoot for as big a crack o'dawn LoT Submarine Meet on the 24th as we can muster. And I might just be in for an ohmygod Icantwait evening Meet on the 12th (but that's doubtful).

Friday. And because - at my age - skipping two years is the equivalent of most people's skipping one.
