Guess you haven't seen the videos of how McDonald's treats the McPigs.

The McD's cherry pie was awesome. The McRib is....I don't know what it is, or was- total mystery meat going on there.

Safeways used to make orange juice frozen bars, made with real orange juice, not that crappy fake stuff Popsicle uses. (Same with grape). I loved those when I was a kid.

I loved them. Of course, wimp that I am, I would peel off and throw away the chili. The chili residue was enough. I'm pretty sure it wasn't an onion roll, though, 'cause I wouldn't have liked that. I seem to remember it was an egg bread sesame seed roll. Sort of a mini challah.

I miss the Denny's Deluxe. Roast beef, cheddar cheese, and tomato slices on grilled sourdough. I make a faux version on a Garlic Cheddar ThinKrisp that's to die for.

Another "repast from the past" I miss are the Kentucky Fried Chicken ribs. OMG they were good. I remember picking them up on the way to the drive-in movies.

My most missed Disneyland foods are actually drinks. In Adventureland, Sunkist I Presume had a Tropical Punch concoction. On Main Street you could get freshly made OJ at Sunkist's storefront, and in Fantasyland, you could stop at the Welch's stand and get a (plastic) glass of grape juice. This was a necessary part of viewing the fireworks from Captain Hook's Galley, after you ran like a maniac from the Train Station Steps where you just watched the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I used to be able to regularly eat the best chicken lasagna I've ever had. Unfortunately it became unavailable to me in 1995 when I got divorced. Really, the only bad thing about the divorce.

Do any Portland area people know if Burgerville is still doing Tillamook cheese turkey burgers? If not then the is a slightly darker place for me.

I know this one is lame but Safeway's deli counter used to sell chicken strips that I really liked but they changed them at some point and now they're as gross as all the other food in the hot case.
