Don't change on my behalf. It's more important that as many see the film as possible than me make it.

innerSpaceman 02-06-2008 11:13 PM

I could.

But I say we just see the early show. Then sit thru the opening credits again with Lisa when she gets there.

Hahaha.

No, really. Let me know. The earlier show works best for me, but i'm open to whatever.

Jack seems to be doing much better now, thank you. But if I want to see my lovely wife at all tomorrow, I'm going to still vote for the early show (7:30).

Not Afraid 02-06-2008 11:19 PM

Go early guys. I'll see it later.

Cadaverous Pallor 02-06-2008 11:41 PM

It was great! I'm so glad we made the trip. :D Very nice of the TodiMooers to make it out just to see it with us. I did feel all special sitting with a person who'd worked on the film.

I have to say - it was edited beautifully. Studio quality on that front. After a while you forget to think about the editing - which is a good thing!

The rest of the production values were also very good, making for an enjoyable film. (I've seen bad movies for the benefit of friends - this wasn't a bad movie.)

Seeing Tom's name ON THE POSTER and AT THE TOP OF THE FILM was awesome. Way to go! :snap:

Ghoulish Delight 02-07-2008 12:09 AM

What she said! Thanks Tom for putting together a great movie!

innerSpaceman 02-07-2008 08:21 AM

oooh, i can't wait.

And um, yeah, unless there's a revolution .... i'd rather do 7:30, too.

LSPoorEeyorick 02-07-2008 08:40 AM

It was so lovely to have CP and GD to come down to see the movie! I am a little embarrassed to say that when they pointed out Tom's credit on the poster, I emitted a squeal. An actual squeal. In public.

I was impressed with the movie! The last cut I saw was interesting, but Tom's handiwork really added to, and shaped, the film. I'm really proud of you, o-master-of-narrative-structure.

We'll hit the early show, then (Tom's current editing gig starts every morning at 6, so even though he'd be open to seeing a later show, I know it'll be better for him, too.) Thanks, though, Lisa, for all of your support. :)

innerSpaceman 02-07-2008 08:50 AM

I'm so mad I missed the squeal.

Will you do a re-enactment tonite?? Pretty please!

ETA: There's a full-page ad in the L.A. Weekly, and with my glasses on, I can read Tom's credit! Virtual Squeal.

LSPoorEeyorick 02-07-2008 08:55 AM

I promise I'll re-enact. I have no qualms about looking like a doof. Plus, it's exciting! <goes to find, snip, and save an LA Weekly>
