I hate corned beef and cabbage. Tonight I'll put green food coloring in my Corona, top it with a slice of lime and call it a day. ;)

Sounds like that's just as Irish as Corned Beef and Cabbage anyway....:rolleyes:

CB&C sounds great to me. my lil japanese mom made the best Ive ever had before or since.

<sigh>

I have our corned beef simmering in the crock pot with a little onion, some carrots, and a few parsnips. In another 30 mins I need to add the cabbage. It smells so good right now, but that's the sucky thing about using the crock pot. Those last couple of hours seem to last an eternity. I really don't want to wait another 2.5 hours for dinner. :(

OMG, I forgot to wear green today. First time I've missed in, likely, 38 years. Not exaggerating.

Oi. Well, I wore lots of green yesterday and ate corned beef ( I wouldn't eat cabbage on a bet), so let's just blame it on the recent time change and call it a day.

Monday is a lame day to go out drinking, so nix to that.

I like cabbage, so long as it's cooked.

I like the cabbage too, in moderation. Helps the body digest the rest of it ;)

I'm sure I said it before, but when my lil' Japanese grandma used to make it regularly (she pretty much never makes it any more :( ) she made the best spaghetti bolognese that's ever passed my lips.

Something we can agree on: Corned Beef Good, Cabbage Bad.
