I have leftover chicken and rice casserole, which is decidedly the favorite dish around these digs. And leftovers taste fantastic for breakfast!
What else... I start my job on Monday!! |
I love playing soccer. I wish I had the time to really practice and get better at it as I still struggle mightily with the basics of ball control, and occasionally decision making. But I'm super happy that I get to play every week, especially on a day like today when we've got enough people to play full 11-on-11 teams. It allows me to settle in to my preferred midfielder position where I spent the bulk of my park league time on the pitch and where my hustle can make up for my lack of foot coordination.

I LOVE taking pictures - and now I've got my first DSLR on it's way, and a couple photographers have given me very encouraging words about pictures I've taken.

What a great day! After a week of getting it ready I was able to get back on the Internet radio airwaves after a year's absence. I used to do live shows but my computer is too slow for that. I will now be on the air each week with a new recorded show from 8-11 PM Eastern (5-8 Pacific)
This week among other things I spun a set for the "Swanky Hipsters at the LoT", some pirate songs dedicated to our newly married Pirate couple, and a set dedicated to Teresa in memory of Delores. It will re-air later this week and I'll let y'all know when. |

managed to snag runner up at the local drags friday. missed 1st place in the class by .1 seconds. got beaten out by an old guy in a buick....that hurt a little. still...what a great night! not bad for a 300 car field
missed a 2nd award by .001 seconds....dang it. still managed to snag my first trophy EVER though woot! |
