Well, you spell better in person, that's for sure. ;)

And you, my friend, are now my favorite person in the entire world. I dread meeting people these days because of the extra million pounds I'm carrying around. Never losing all the weight from Indi, combined with pregnancy fat-face has me feeling pretty frumpy. Hopefully next time I'm at a meet I'll look like my real self again. But for you to say I looked pretty after a loooong day at DL has made my day. No, my week. (I'm easy to please.) You, of course, looked gorgeous as always.

I loved everybody's tiki shirts. I saw so many cool shirts at the park. It sucked. I'm not in any position to shop for real sized shirts. Has anybody bought the Pirates Life game yet? That was tempting. I resisted spending $50 on yet another board game though.

I wasn't fishing for a compliment, but thanks anyway. :)

You looked very pretty and healthy. I was thinking that you looked better than the last time we saw you (or that I'd forgotten how pretty you were), and then NA points out your belly, which I hadn't even noticed!

I too will vouch for Bornieo's nice guy attitude.

If by "on here" you mean at other boards as well, I wish I could say the same.

I tend to be stand offish in person. I prefer to sit back and take it all in. Often people mistake it for being a stuck up bitch, which I am not. At work I have been known to be intimidating and scary.

I haven't met too many people here, but I was very impressed with those I did. I had to force myself to go up to people (when I wasn't sitting off to the side with David or telling The Boy to calm down).

Claire is exactly who she is online. She is very pretty and extremly nice.
NA is wonderful. She went out of her way to try to make me comfortable. She even took pictures of my claws. LOL.
GD was quiet, but not in a bad way at all.
I never really had a chance to talk to Mr Meinke, he was always surrounded my a mob and that is my biggest fear, walking into a large group of "strangers."
I spent most of the day with MS and Brandy (and Dexter too). I did something very bold to meet her (bold for me). I just KNEW that I would see her that day in the park. I knew to look for a woman with red hair and I knew what Brandy looked like. We had just gotten to the park, standing in line for the gates to open, when I looked at the line next to us and there she was. I went up to her and started talking. I refused to tell her who I was. I called Nickolas over and as soon as I introduced him as The Boy she knew. They are truly wonderful people.

That is the sweetest thing!!

I remember your fingernails (long and gorgeously decorative) before I went a-hiding waaaaay over to the side. I felt crappy not being more social, but I just don't do well at meets, esp. if my husband is there, because he's even more shy than I am.

You approached me and introduced yourself and I froze up like I always do at these meets! Then you pointed out your husband and told me something about him....seems we had been trash-talking the white trash lifestyle on MP before the meet, but I'd actually missed your post about him (we had left town by then), so I was confused, but didn't want to say so at the time. Then I hid. And when I got home, I read your post and understood how funny it was.

My biggest UGH is not hanging out with MouseWife. UGH! I was a bit monopolized at the one meet that we were both at 2+ years ago and didn't make the approach. Damn that was so stupid.....guess I thought I'd have another chance?

When I'm at a meet, I tend to cling to my husband, my children and if I'm not with them, then one other person. I'm not the one who will be entertaining the crowds with my wit and wisdom....but I do remember once grabbing MickeyD's boobs and I believe someone has a picture of that.....oh, maybe I do.

Anyway, I totally crap out at meets. I'm the one sneaking off to go on a ride or six, have dinner at BB with one other person (playing F Marry Kill), spacing off during an informational spiel about an attraction, and giggling with one other person about fart noises. I'm no entertainer, nor am I a good listener in a group situation.

In short, I'm not good at meets. So thanks for saying the lovely things, MouseyGirl!

Much. Smaller. Vocabulary.

That's me in person.

Though I ramble on just as much. Am probably just as crass. And I'm a lot more oily in person. Heh.

But I think my personality online and off are pretty much the same, though I can be very shy in certain situations, and my moods vary a lot more in real life.

Hmmm. can I comment on this? I dont agree. I think you have the same vocab on and off the boards, and you are just as crass, though I would have said, suggestive.
Eliza and I, imo, have a great board relationship.. but even though i have seen her more than twice, and offered to go hunt her down in a train station, I am painfully shy around her.
I dont feel worthy. She's so cool, so totally the in chick... (I know I know... she wont agree)
Eliza on the other hand, blends right in, and has the security of ten people I know.
The oily... eh.. I didnt see that.

I didn't see oily.... greasy maybe... but not oily. ;)

Also, I think Eliza and LSPE are masters of the english language. They are very literate and articulate on the boards and off the boards. There were many times I felt like Cousin Cleetus eating a possum burger. So, really, I strive to be more literate and well spoken like they are.

And I have the language of a sailor off the boards. Let's just call it my Jay and Silent Bob influence... the f* word flows off my tongue. It's an art.

I'm in the "I like Eliza and LSPE" Club.

I'm very shy in person and I know I come across as standoffish at meets with new people. I tend to stick to those I know and feel very comfortable with but once I get to know you I don't shut up. It's easier when I've talked to people via IM or PM.

So if any of you have met me or seen me at a meet and I didn't introduce myself or anything I promise it's me, not you.

Traci! I am so sorry I missed seeing you! Friday fell through and Sunday I had some other stuff going on. Hopefully next time.

MouseWife chaneling through wendybeth~ Well...other boards...for me, no Disney meets have been a disappointment.

I do have some music board people I'd like to meet up with just to see if they measure up to their posting, ya know?

Claire~ Ya know, I would love to hang with you! I love hanging with my Hubster, too, and the kiddos BUT without them I revert back to my pre-family days and it is so stress free. I take my mom/wife job very seriously........

 Who am I kidding? I draw the line, though at grabbing boobies.
{chickie, especially if there is a camera around.... ;)}
