Happy Birthday, Boss! (Whenever I call you that, I hear myself speaking like Tattoo. So, what is your fantasy?)

I think you should start youthening a year with each birthday. It's the Retro thing to do ... and in a few decades, you can be right back where you'd fit right in with your particular field of expertise.

Tune in to a Happy Birthday, Boss Radio.

May this year be worthy of a ghost tour to our 80-year old selves,

Have the happiest of birthdays full of swag and swank

I generally miss birthday threads in my desperate attempt to keep up around here, but I'm glad I caught this one...hippo birdies, one of my oldest fellow travelers! Can't do better than many of the previous threadsters, so I'll just echo their sentiments in my own small weird way! May snoo never cause dodge to yer steppin'! :D

Thank you all for the well wishes.

It all comes down to this: it's not the places you go...but the people you come to know. Like all of you lovely people, for instance. It has been wonderful getting to know many of you. And just as wonderful staying in contact with the Old Guard, like the lovely lady in comment #37, the SF Strangler, or the ageless Nick and Nora-like proprietors of this fine drinking establishment.

I'll try to participate more in the future. My God-given ability to barely unitask often impairs me, as do the various night-time sleep remedies. And, admittedly, eBay is also a distraction. Still, thanks for letting me hang around the doorway of one of the liveliest neverending conversations on the whole darned internet machine thingie.

Oooh! Nick and Nora! What a compliment (sans Martini(s) for this Nora).
