Sure, it was just a drill last time next time you might not be so lucky. Disaster might be closer than you think and you can blame the Salton sea.

If we had a 7.8 you'd know.

But that reminds me, I need to redo my emergency kit.

We should all use this as a good reminder to make sure emergency supplies are readily available for your family and your pets.

One of my neighbors is a emergency preparedness fanatic. They have the generator (plus propane to run it), food stores - MRE's, blankets, etc.

Too bad I have the one thing they deemed not necessary. A gun.
