Dishes

Photos of the dishes. The three colored platters do not say fiesta on them anywhere. We'll have an inventory of the dishes here in a bit.

I broached the subject with Bill (he hasn't read this thread). He didn't say yes... but he didn't say no, either. What he said was "You don't need more dishes, but I'm not going to tell you what to do."

So... How much? :D

Ok here's the list of what's pictured (we found one box of them in the basement so no guarantee there's not more). Make a bid :D Mostly we just want them to have a happy home.

Aha, I thought they'd be Edison discs when you mentioned they were thick. Let me get to one of my friends who is into 78's, he knows people who might be able to help you on that. Okay, this is an Edison Diamond Disc machine circa 1910-1920's (probably 1925 or so)

They may be Metlox

You've all been such a help - thank you. Half this stuff we have no idea what it even is (or that it was even there, the phonograph was wedged under the basement staricase).

And we're only on day one :)

The pics are awesome. All that stuff is worth $$$. I think you just got something back for the pain of dealing with all of it. :) Damn, Antiques Roadshow isn't coming anywhere near you.

I do love the Franciscan - it's from 1955, you know. As old as Disneyland!

We did Antiques Roadshow once - horrible experience. Spent two hours in line for a 30 second, and I'm being generous there, "it's not worth anying".
