Oh, I'm not surpirsed - but rather dissappointed none-the-less. I mean come down a few days before and attend the NFFC convention and you're bound to get panel discussions, signings, and cool merchandise for much less.

I don't see how the event and their ambiguity is going to find any takers, I mean - tast of the resort? Certainly none of us APers will be biting on that one. Lame. Just lame.

I still will hold out some hope that on 5/5 they might announce the 50-hour party I long for. But I won't be holding my breath.

In a word...lame.

Cadaverous Pallor 04-07-2005 09:34 PM

Oookay.

So, APs will get you into the park? There's no extended hours?

All I care about is being able to get in. The rest is bullshyt.

I'm still hoping for extended hours. Maybe a hard ticket. Just not a "merch event".

I can imagine a bunch of hung-over LoTers lingering around the French Market while the 190 guests eat their "special breakfasts". We can lean over the railing ... "Whatchoo eatin'?"

Maybe for like $1000 they'll put you in a genuine Skybucket, and let you spit on the crowds while scissor-lifted over Fantasyland?

Crap....literally!

I was just looking at the number of people these events will "hold":

Walt's Dream - 50
Roy's Plan - 50
Lillian's Inspiration - 140
Imagineer's Quest - 750

That's a maximum of 990 people participating in the 50th "events".

Max revenue generation is

Walt's Dream - $97,750
Roy's Plan - $87,500
Lillian's Inspiration - $105,000
Imagineer's Quest - $371,250

Or $661,500 Gross revenue (Approx. 13,500 day guests).

Boggles the mind.

Edit to add: If they sold 10,000 50th Anniversary extended hours event tickets at $100 each, they'd bring in $1,000,000 on admission alone.

They couldn't make it 9 more?
