We're bringing Ken's old down comforter for our bed. Nice and warm and snuggly! :D

Then again, we also bring a queen sized air mattress with portable frame, so we bring regular bedding instead of sleeping bags anyway. :)

Where?

It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend down here in the South, Y'all! :)

Who said anything about not bringing comforters? I expect most folks will bring their most comfy, cherished, heirloom comforter to sleep snooky in their tents with.

Really? In the middle of the summer? Isn't a sleeping bag enough?

Alex 04-23-2007 03:52 PM

Yeah, I'll barely even bring a sleeping bag. But if someone does want a big blanket there's no reason they couldn't.

I think we will be feeling out of place with our small tent, slef inflating camping pads and North Face Mummy Bags.

I thought size didn't matter.

If weather isn't great then I'll have a small tent and a sleeping bag. if it is fine then I'll have a tent that doesn't leave my trunk and a fleece sleepsack in which I'll just sleep outside on the ground, no pad (before going to sleep I'll throw a couple hot dogs on top of a neighboring tent so that when bears show up they'll be too distracted to eat me).

Don't worry; you're safe from us. Besides, your distraction tactic wouldn't work anyway. Bill doesn't like hot dogs.
