It may be a medical problem, though I suspect that is just an effort to cover up her blunder.

Social worker fail

Got a call from the nursing home social worker:

SW: I'm following up your call last week about long-term care for your mother. I know she went back to the hospital before coming back to us but she doesn't seem to be here right now, did she go back to the Hospital?

Me: No, she passed away in your facility last week

SW: oh, I'm sorry to [lengthy appogy]. So we have some of your mother s things, there's a tennis shoe but I can't find the mate.

Me: that's because her leg was amputated.

Oh Euro, I'm so sorry you have to deal with crap like that at such a time. Makes you wonder why they're given the power to decide things so important when they obviously don't look at the files.

Today at Disneyland:

Space Mountain!!! YAY!!!! Oh, it just broke down.
Matterhorn!!!! YAY!!!! Oh, it just broke down too.
Big Thunder!!! YAY!!!! Only 20 minutes!!!! Row 10!!! Train is pulling into the station for us to board!!!! What the hell you mean it just broke down?

All the mountains, within an hour. Absolutely bewildering.

When I had to replace my bumper cover I should have just done something like that. Damn thing cost $1100.

In response to your "Fiberglass/Drywall; what's the difference?"

Drywall screws are frequently used in woodworking projects - with their smaller and non-tapered shafts (than wood screws), it helps prevent splitting the wood (especially if you pre-drill the hole).

But funny picture
