Lounge of Tomorrow - Sooooo.....

I DID start a new job this week after 5 years of relative comfort. But, sheesh, I used to be a corporate marketing manager with a MUCH higher stress job. Have I really lost my stress management skill?

Well, if you haven't used that skill for a while, then yes, I'd say you may be a bit rusty.

IMO, coping skills get better and better. You have perspective, you know? But what I can no longer do is get up really early to fit in extra work. I'm talking 3 or 4 a.m. I used to be the queen of that but no can do anymore.

So, I am so proud of my oldest kid. She makes beaded macramé necklaces and bracelets which are flying out the door of the shop that sells them. She keeps changing things up so there's no same old same old. Right now, she's making them with little enameled flower charms.

In not so happy news, my black kitty has gone officially to kitty heaven. Just wanted to let everybody know. She was a good kitty, and I hope she is at peace.
