OMG! A lil girl just totally wigged out when she saw Fiona - She's on the ground crying she's so happy she got her picture with Fiona, definitely a highlight for today :)

Sometimes I hate being right.

On the port side, or starboard?;)

I thought so cause they looked so vintage and cool, but I didn't know if they were family, or reproductions. And frankly weren't sure they were gay, men were allowed to touch and stuff back then, you know. Even kiss. But these days if you show effection at all people talk. But that's fine with me, they can talk all they want, I still will hug men I'm close to. So there!:p

The nice man in brown just delivered my Lola Loves Lashes cake mascara (airplane carry-on safe!) and I had to share the sentiment in the outer packaging:

Lust Often, Love Always

Some days I'm not sure if I'm glad or regretful that there's not a gun in the house.

Well... I had my 2 interviews today. Nextel was pretty much what I expected. Main drawback is it is only $8.50/hr. The one this afternoon with HowCool.com was verrrry different. The fist thing I noticed (after spotting the workout equipment in the lobby) was people running around barefoot. They had already decided they wanted me in the customer service dept. I ended up being surrounded and interviewed by 3 different people, the 2 girls doing the hiring and the cust svc dept head. They told me the job only paid $8/hr and when I balked the girls took off and had a conference. They came back and said they wanted me to talk to the owner and see about giving me a manager title so they could pay me more.

The drive out there was very surreal. It is just over a hill from where I used to live with The Old People. It used to be out in the middle of nowhere. It ain't nowhere any more! I was shocked at the amount of building going on. Mesa Marin (Nascar raceway) was even torn out and it just had it's last race in April! It is already graded for more houses. The empty field in front of our old house (around 1000 acres) now has houses on it. I guess they solved the water issues (really bad water due to oil drilling).

It just kills me that all these open areas are no longer open.

After summer, hours drop down dramatically for people without seniority...
She had a great time, and was just about in tears saying goodbye.
