We're coming down to Disneyland for MouseAdventure. Our winters up here have gotten warmer over the last decade or so. I seem to remember a lot more snow when I moved over here than we get now.

Could be that you have gotten used to the snow so it doesn't seem as bad?


It is 98 out there. I thought we were only supposed to hit 90 today. *sigh*

I think the interview went ok, it is just so hard to tell.
Boy isn't home yet, so he will never know I wasn't here.

Probably more important that my getting sick or not getting sick is my pal getting sick or not getting sick. For many reasons. :(

I'm also stressed out with school stuff. It doesn't end. ACK!

We are going North from San Diego next week. I had thought we were going to imss any chance of snow....Ah, there has been snow where we are going!!!

So, we are taking the SUV which has 4WD and chains while the more economic {gas wise} car will sit at home.

That is something about traveling within California. You can be in a hot spot one day and the next need a jacket! So, packing is tricky.

Last summer we went to Yosemite which normally would have been a 90 degree plus visit....took very light clothes....it was chilly and raining!!! Luckily the Boy had a jacket because, as his mom, I always pack one for him. :D

So, I've learned to be prepared. The weather can change pretty quickly.

Hard to say but I don't think it's that I've gotten used to it, I'm thinking of measureable snowfall. The winter Maddie was born, we had up to 4 feet from like October to March. I remember the sides of my driveway! We haven't had snow like that in years, though we do get some snow. Usually we have the first snowfall by Halloween, though it doesn't stick around. We'll just plan to be prepared for anything (the truck has 4WD too) and hope for an easy drive!
