Hubby heard on the radio (2 different stations) that HISTA is going back to Captain EO in January. This was a rumor at first, but guess not any more. My life is going to be h*ll come January it looks like!

Well, it's about time they have some attendance back in that theater!

It's a totally smart move, really. :)

Interestingly, the rumors began in July, so it's not ENTIRELY a cynical play at capitalizing on Jackson's death, even if it's a fair bet that if a go/no-go decision had yet to be made, his death would have played a big part in tipping it toward go.

Why are you people treating this like it's a good thing?

Simply closing the theater all together or using it to expand innovations would be a better use of space Than Capt EO.

As long as it is purely temporary this seems like an agreeable nod to nostalgia (though to the general population it will seem crass monetizing of his death to many).

Purely temporary though. My concern with intending purely temporary is that sometimes it somehow becomes mostly permanent for lack of momentum.

Sayyy, when did people start saying 'good on you'? Sac just used it in a PM to me, I heard a guy say it at the mall today and the other night someone said it to me at rehearsals. Has it been used lately in a movie or on a TV show or something?

Ghoulish Delight 09-08-2009 04:14 PM

I've always used it. Sparingly, but definitely a phrase I've used for years.

I mean I haven't heard it used for quite some time and then all of a sudden everyone's using it. It must be you then that started it.

New-car-yayness for MMG!

I've never seen Capt Eo so I'd welcome a temporary airing.

I uploaded my pictures from two days in Orlando to my Flickr site.
