MW- I'm glad you don't have diabetes. It can be managed, but it's better to not have it.

It was a lot of fun this morning. A circus, as it were, a sea of bicycles at a crazy early hour.

Thanks abg!! I was soo relieved when the doctors' office called me. Of course, I was hoping for nothing to come back from my tests but so glad it wasn't diabetes.

That sounds like so much fun! Sort of like Critical Mass but during the day!! AND with Lance Armstrong! So cool!

I don't know if you saw posts on Facebook about it but on the last CM Rick was so jazzed that they took a drastic turn and went across the Coronado Bridge!! Only about 300 {I think} made it all of the way across until they made the rest turn around. Rick was so thrilled, even though they had to ride through Coronado and then across the Silver Strand back to downtown.

I haven't riden it but I went to the park and I started to feel the excitment of it all. Sooo tempting!!

This is going to sound weird and I'll be the first to say it's only a half-baked thought but I think that putting Ellen in as a judge on American Idol had more to do with people being ticked off about Adam Lambert not winning than anything else. I think Fox is trying to paint itself as not being anti-gay. It maybe a total wingnut opinion but that struck me as a possibility this morning over my Honey Nut Cheerios.

I think they just said, "Paula was nice. Who else is nice? Ellen's nice. And maybe . . . nope, just Ellen."

I went back for my MRI yesterday. Thanks to an IV dose of Valium, I was able to endure the entire hour inside the machine.

An IV dose! Wow! Glad you were able to make it thorugh it this time.

Woke up at 4AM this morning when the backyard hose ruptured. Couldn't get back to sleep - or so I thought as Toucans appeared on the roof that flew away before I could get the camera even though Bob cat cubs and an anteater showed up instead. I think there may have been something a little extra in my BBQ sauce last night.

We drove down to Seal Beach to have lunch at Woody's. It turns out that there is a craft fair this weekend.

Just an aside... There are a lot of old white people in Seal Beach!

MW- is the Coronado bridge a big deal? I've never been to a critical mass ride; I have some issues about how much they block traffic. They're out to be disturbing as opposed to me- I'm trying to get along and fit in.

Euro- I agree there must have been a little extra something there!
