You should have kept the dog, Moonie.

This week, Heather and I adopted a dog that was rescued after he had been dumped from a car on a major freeway (we named him Snake). Even with the horrible overpopulation of dogs and cats, there are some people that just shouldn't be pet owners...

And, since we always love happy endings, here's a picture of Snake I took less than an hour ago:

Awwww - such cuteness. Congrats to the Pods - and to Snake for ending up with a wonderful family.

You SHOULD have kept the little guy. Stupid idiot owners. Dogs should be belted in or in a crate while in the car.

Oh, and Snake is a CUTIE PIE! Plus, he LOVES me and doesn't want to taste me. :)

How are those toppers working out MP?

So I guess there is no Detour festival this year - which doesn't surprise me since despite the fun time I had, there was hardly any crowd. Seems the LA Weekly is dropping Goldenvoice for Live Nation and doing a "festival" at the Gibson Amphitheater. Eh well, not terribly inspired by the line-up

So I put my iPod on shuffle and a Mutaytor song came on. Their songs always remind me of Matt and Mark. Then I started thinking about going with Matt, Rose and Mark to Knott's Scary Farm the last 2 years and was bummed thinking that I won't be doing that this year. Bah!
It made my cheese sad.

Brad it won't be the same without you this year at Knott's Scary Farm to make fun of me while i'm scared and screaming. Plus we're going with Louis from France for his first ever visit. This is gonna be fun but you will be missed. I'm already missing you while we plan our visits. :( My cheese is sad too but look forward to your visit out here when you come.

So, tickets to the David Sedaris reading - purchased!
Next task: obtain Holidays on Ice so hubbo will know who the hell David Sedaris is.

So I'm off for my final trip to my Mom's house to help my Aunt load up her stuff. House is sold. It's sad but one less thing I have to deal with. Last chance for petrefied wedding cake.

I'm off to the grocery store and doctor's office......geez it's way too early for this on a Saturday!
