Yes, he is fantastic live. Though I disagree that his books are great. For some reason I only find him funny out loud.

I've been to one of David Sedaris' readings and it was a blast. He's so funny. I think "Me Talk Pretty One Day" is still my favorite of his. And I love listening to "Santaland Diaries" every Xmas.
