Awww... he's adorable! And he says, "yeahhhh" at the end just like Baloo in Bear Necessities.

Also, I find myself increasingly attracted to the idea of patterned carpet in the home. Not in green, necessarily (more like blue), but the overall look of a patterned carpet is kinda nice IMHO.

Youtube is testing higher resolution videos. If you add:

&fmt=6

To the url of the video, some percentage of the vids will show in higher res.

The skateboard dog being one example:

Hi-res version

I was just hearing about this. The analysis I heard was that the hurdle they have is not bandwidth, nor is it, obviously, storage (which is essentially free these days). It's the processing cycles necessary to encode the videos. With the volume of video they receive, it's a massive task and it's questionable whether they, or anyone, have the resources to handle it.

This sounds like a job for the Atomic Cookie Blast Furnace v4.0!

Chef O'Hara: Send out the ACBF signal!

(Note: That was not a typo, it was a cleaver play on "chef" vs "chief". )

(And yes, that also was a kitchen pun)

I'm a big fan of Saul Bass and his ilk, and the stylish movie credits they created. I'm appreciative of Star Wars. So it was pleasing to me that someone smooshed the two together.
