So, I actually consoled a stranger at a cocktail party today. Me!

I was a sickeningly selfless.

I guess the sun was over the yardarm somewhere.

We do not stand on formalities here. Cocktails were at 11 a.m., lunch at 12. And beer isn't just for breakfast anymore.

Drinking that early in the day...no wonder someone needed consoling.

I think his odds of finding 1300 year old Anglo-Saxon treasure in California is rather slim.

Depends on if that manufacturer exports to the United States.

So, I am dedicating this weekend to sewing a knee-length dress in ivory duchesse satin. It's very Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and it's for Daughter #2 to wear to the Homecoming dance.
