In two weeks we'll learn that this is a hoax, the treasure was planted by a metal detector manufacturer, and the discoverer was an unwitting employee.

We do not stand on formalities here. Cocktails were at 11 a.m., lunch at 12. And beer isn't just for breakfast anymore.

So, I am dedicating this weekend to sewing a knee-length dress in ivory duchesse satin. It's very Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and it's for Daughter #2 to wear to the Homecoming dance.
