So I've watched the first two episodes of Eastwick. It is really stupid and bad but something about it is appealing to me. So I've watched on Hulu while doing other things on the computer (I guess I no longer get to mock Monk fans).

Anyway, I've been wondering about the racial makeup of Lindsay Price, one of the leads. Clearly hapa and we all know hapas are the cutest. Anyway, she's Korean-German.

What I found interesting though is that her mom is the adopted sister of her dad. Her parents were raised as siblings. Now, I don't really have a problem with it, I just find it interesting. Must make for good cocktail party stories. However, growing up it would have reduced the sources for Christmas parents since she only has two grandparents instead of four.

I remember Stephanie Birkitt from old "Late Night" episodes.

I am sitting here at the computer desk. I just felt the earth move, not much, but enough, and long enough to make me dizzy and a bit lightheaded. I called my mom, nope, they didn't feel it. Their response was that I must be losing it more than normal. The news reported a 4.9 in Owens Valley. She called me back as I was calling her. HA!!! I was right. Then she re-checked her light over the table. It started swinging about 2-4 minutes after I felt it.

This is weird. Last night I felt at least 2 others. They were both in the Owen's Valley. Normally I would have chalked them up to one of my dizzy spells, but I could hear a tiny creak in my window. Looking at the USGS map the others that I felt were 4.5 and under.

Nope, they were hybrid pumpkins. They had tons of gourds too.
