I love this. :snap:

So, Daughter #2 is applying for college next year. The application process is very different than back in the (Jurassic) day. They ask meme stuff:
  • What would the title of your autobiography be?
  • What one idea excites you?
(It says right on the form that Kevy may not answer that one.)
  • List ten books, in order of importance to you, that you read in the past two years.

It would be fun if it wasn't a college application.

My autobiography title is "One Scream Leads To Another"

On the bright side, It looks like I won't have to be bitter for too much longer....

A) I don't know, the publisher would likely pick the title.
B) I'm 18, an autobiography would likely be four pages long so maybe the title would be "Don't Buy This Book, You Just Read the Whole Thing."
C) If you mean at some distant point in the future, I suspect it will be a witty play on words based on some future accomplishment.

French toast for dinner.

Does this mean I don't get to go to college?

I still have my application to Stanford. They asked similar questions then (1991) too. I think my essay question was something like, "If you had one year to do anything you wanted to, all expenses paid, what would you do and why?"

I'm pretty sure my law school application asked me to tell them why I wanted to go to law school. How very stone age of them! No wonder they're a second tier school!

Unrelated note:
I can't wait for the 2011 west coast Disney cruising, so I'm planning to cruise in the early months of 2010. Parameters are: it has to leave out of LA and be no longer than 7 days. This pretty much means Mexican Riviera and a choice of NCL, RCI, or Carnival. The NCL ship would be the Star, which is the one and only ship I've already been on, so I'm leaning toward one of the other two. Also, according to online room layout diagrams, the other two put the bed next to the balcony and the seating area further in, while NCL puts the seating area next to the balcony and the bed further in. A primary goal of this cruise will be sex while listening to ocean waves, so I'm thinking bed closer to balcony would be preferable.

Anyone have any experience with either RCI or Carnival that I should consider? It need not be sex-related. Pants, however, are optional.

We cruised the Carnival Pride to the Mexican Riviera in, I think, 2005. It was our first cruise and a nice introduction to cruising. Plus: they make sure you always have something to do (or nothing at all, if that's what you want). Minus: Everybody smokes.

No experience on RCI. Our other non-Disney cruise was on the Celebrity Infinity to Alaska.

My mom has a small hairy ass too. Only hers isn't award winning nor is it quite as small as your mom's. The granddaughters have named it Fiona. :D

We did Carnival to the Mexican Riviera for our 10th anniversary in 2007 and we loved it. I was worried about it being a "party ship" (not my scene), but it wasn't that at all. We thoroughly enjoyed.
