Zach and I are going to have a busy week. Tonight at the library in the next town they are having a Holocaust survivor give a talk. he sounds like a fascinating man and it will be a good first hand education for the boy on the atrocities of man. He's actually pretty excited, I didn't even tell him we'll go out for churros afterward!

Later in the week we go to Portland for the Shanghai Tunnel Tour under Portlands city streets. Zachs' teacher is even our group leader, so that should be a blast, and it's another cool piece of history for us to learn about. Hopefully someday we'l make it back for the haunted tunnel tour too!

There is also a Disney outlet temporary store up there so I figure we'll hit that while we're there too. Gary is hoping we'll stick around and go out for dinner with him since he's working up there.

Then it's bday weekend for us.

I think it should be a great week, a little tiring but lots of fun and educational too!

I am presently working on a paid design gig. If I do well on this one, then the firm has a "ton" more work lined up to give to me. And, it's obnoxiously excellent pay for very little time consumption. :D

However, I rediscovered happiness during lunch today - Mickey-shaped chicken nuggets + bottle of hot sauce with fine squeeze tip = spicy, happy, smiling Mickeys. :D

I have a busy week that includes a class tour, being slave labor at a neighboring branch, an all day Young Adult Literature seminar in Sacramento and then B's Girl Scout stuffs on Friday. I have to work on Saturday so the only REAL day off I have is Sunday.
