No kidding! I always hold my breath until we pass through certain parts of L.A. On edge....did the car make a funny noise? How's the temp gauge? No one had better have to use the bathroom!!!!

Snow!!! 3894, we are only being told maybe...maybe, we might get a bit of precipitation. Usually not. I would like a good hard rain so I don't have to wash my car. :0)

Last year I was driving to Staples to meet my cousin for a game. I've been there before so I knew what the exit should look like, and the exit my GPS told me to take did not look like the exit I took in the past. It looked so awful that I just got right back on the freeway. Found the correct exit about 4 miles up the freeway.

Yikes! That's scary! I mean, you think your GPS wouldn't steer you wrong and yet it was taking you to the wrong place! And what a wrong place!

Not quite snow, but there was frost on the grass this morning. I was not amused.

Wow you folks have been busy! Something like 1400 new posts since I last logged in.

GC- I like your Hawaiian names! I can't imagine how you remember your sisters' names, though.

Ghost pumpkins- they've been around for a while. If I carved pumpkins, I'd totally get those.

Pru- I hope you find a great cruise on a great ship!

Me: trip to Indiana. Eighteen women in a house for a weekend. Spectacular.

Home for a couple days, trying to process all the time spent with my girls, working on pictures. Now we're planning to drive a couple of servers to Arizona for hubby's work. Supposed to be driving today, but one of the servers didn't transfer like it was supposed to, so now we're shooting for tomorrow. I'm going along to have some fun.

What is not fun is that the rental place didn't have the minivan they were supposed to have- they gave us an Expedition. We're calling it alternately the Behemoth and a HoverChair. I'll be glad to give it back.

A little "Dancing with the Stars" goes a really long way, particularly if Donny Osmond is dancing.

Susan's GPS (a three or four month old Garmin Nuvi) couldn't find the address we went to this weekend - even when we were already there! Thankfully, I had printed out the Google directions before we left.
