Is anyone else a bit hung over this morning from the super secret don't invite bewitched party?

That must be why my head feels this way.

As far as the unicorn tears go, it's my chance to walk down the street to work twirling my unfurled Burberry umbrella. Let 'em fall!

Let me repeat what I've learned over the years: Californians think Mother Nature is their friend. Midwesterners and Bitter East Coasters know Mother Nature is trying to kill us.

She's trying to kill us too. Have you forgotten that our state catches on fire once every other year or so? And then the subsequent rain and mud slides?

Mother Nature gave us an earthquake last night (a 3.7 that apparently nobody outside our valley felt). But I don't take it personally.

And the stupid USGS took just long enough to record it that we started to think we'd maybe imagined the entire apartment giving a solid jolt (a hallucination shared by the cat since she hid under the bed).

We're about to have another earthquake in So Cal. Chris is out of town.

I always was under the impression that the earth was supposed to move when the hubby was home.....interesting you and Chris are opposite of the norm.

I think I've put my cat into panic mode after moving his food and litterbox into the side room. I'm having furniture delivered and a handyman coming by to fix some shizz around the apartment... I wanted to just be prepared.

FREAK OUT MODE!

Scratch that - I think I'm the one in Freak Out Mode. I hate waiting for stuff to arrive and people to come by in their "four-hour windows".

Blah.

Go to the bathroom, they'll show up as soon as you sit down.
