Hey NA!

How go the dogwars in Long Beach?

How's it going?

Can you recommend a cat bed for me? Tango, so far has rejected the last two I bought. Anything on your website?

So, one of my daughter's friends will be availing himself of Halloween to come out of the closet to his family. Costume: Lady Gaga.

His dad is a very conservative pastor of a very large, very conservative church here. Dad and mom are in massive denial or else they're very sheltered. I hope it goes well.

He should be the gay kid on Glee. I liked last night's fuzzy angora sweater ensemble.

Seriously, I hope it goes well too.

I hope so, too. Parental units, please get with the program.

I'll support him virtually, go Gaga boy go! (and I mean this in the nicest way)

Having witnessed my own friends in school coming out to friends and family, I'll send good positive thoughts.

Dressing in drag like a freakazoid rock star in order to come out to conservative mom and dad? Yeah, what could go wrong with that.

This is what I'm saying. The need to be in-your-face to the parental unit is understandable but unwise, IMO. But then, the only place I voice an opinion on this is right here.

The kid is very nice to be around and always welcome at our house, especially when he dials the volume back a little. His parents have every reason to be so proud of him.

Gawd my beard grows fast! I can already see about 2mm of roots showing below the blue.

Why can't I get growth like that up top?

It's true. Why can't the hair on my head grow as fast as the hair on my legs!

From what I understand, the magic T hormone is responsible for the inverse proportion. I love the thick mop on my nearly 50-year-old head, but I couldn't grow a beard to save my life from Islamic phobenatics.

It is going great. We are starting to unpack boxes and boxes of stuff. I've been entering POs, receiving, tagging, staging and merchandising in my sleep! We're not open yet, but it should happen soon (I hope).

The Donkeys have stayed away for now - although all they do is sit on a chair in front of their tiny store all day long and wave at me whenever I walk by.

We have a 3-in one bed that Tango might like. Does she like to burrow or go "camping" at all? There's not a picture of the bed on our website. I am too brain dead to remember the brand name tonight, but I'll remember it soon (probably at 2 am) and see if I can scare up a picture. It is a really cool bed that can be a tunnel, a donut bed or a fluffy blanket. I want one in my size!
