Millions of people camp in the Sierras every summer. Exactly two of them are eaten by wildlife.
This year that will happen on June 16. So you'll be perfectly safe. |
Alex, while I don't think it will prove practical for people to relay their grocery orders to you ... perhaps you could be in charge of bringing wood (which we would all contribute to the price of), and be the official firewood transporter for this excursion.

That might be a better idea but it suddenly occurs to me that what I was suggested would break the Zeroth rule of group camping:
Rule 0: You never, ever, rely on one person to bring all the food. If you do that person will invariably flake out, flame out, or otherwise expire in transit leaving you with nothing to eat. |

We have one of those electric ones. We call it the Redneck Tennis Racket. Fun for everyone! (Yes, it's a battery-operated bug zapper that looks like a small racket.) |
FYI - Re Food stuff.
In 3-Rivers there is a small Mom/Pop market that was really good. Then down the hill there are Markets within an hour drive. So, a run down a few times for supplies isn't impossible! :) |
