Enjoying my last day of vacation. I hope the weather clears up. Fog on the freeway is not fun.

A full day of steady rain yesterday turned to a snow flurry around 1:00 a.m. Now it's sunny and gorgeous. I have the ZooLights shift this evening. I hope people show up! (We extended ZooLights from the original 28th closing to next Sunday. So far it's been old and wet and the crowds haven't been there since last weekend.)

You do know that Christmas was over a week ago?

Act 3 of last week's This American Life ("Scenes from a Mall") should be required listening for anyone who spends any time on internet message boards. All too familiar.

Which leads me to another question: are these gifts for Christmas 2008 or are you running REALLY late?

When I came on this morning, Lot said there were 4 new posts. So why did only one thread with one new post come up?

Actually, I suspect: 1) posts in the ever-busy moderator forums (actual hidden thread where you and I ARE being snubbed), and/or 2) posts written then deleted (I am not sure if these count towards new posts or not).
