My cat dreams have all involved sick, injured, or lost cats. Or some variant. That I have to save.

Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer at 5 years old. She began to hide hundreds of little notes around the house — in sock drawers, backpacks and tucked between the books on the shelves — for her parents, Brooke and Keith, to find after she was gone. In “Notes Left Behind,” her parents share the journal entries they kept during her battle, as well as content from the notes left by Elena.

My sister has been spending a lot of time in Anatevka lately. Here's the promo they just filmed. My sister is in the long, lighter green apron.

If you live in the Bay Area, looks like a good production.

Actaully collies are surprisingly good at herding commuters. I guess it's in their nature.

Ugh, must be leftover stress from when your baby went a-wanderin'. I can empathize - my vivid preg dreams have come back (with slightly less intensity), and though the topics vary widely, they are often quite emotional. No, I don't dream about babies all the time, but there are a lot of responsibility-themed concepts.

I also forget them soon after waking...but the drained feeling stays with me for a bit.

I indulged in bitchery at a mom-n-pop grocery store today and it felt so gooooooood.

A woman I used to work and who was every bad co-worker cliché you can think of with waved and squealed, "Helen!"

I ignored that. Of course. I mean, this woman even was certain I was having an affair with her alcoholic husband, who also worked with us. As if, lady.

"Helen! It's so good to see you!"

So, naturally, I turned around to face her and said, "Yeah, well it's a drag to see you."

And then I moved on.

Helen, what a terrific riposte!

Kudos!
