Wow. 2 deaths. And one was someone who panicked, ran into the street and was hit by a car.
Seems the larger towns near the border got lucky, with the bulk of the energy being directed away from them. |
Two dead, 100 injured. I guess it hit in a low-density area which was lucky.

I KNEW it. I swear I felt another slow-rolling type quake a few minutes ago. Sure enough, a 5.5 in the same area as the big 7.2 happened at 9:44

Didn't feel it (in Anaheim). But we also have 10 trains a day going past so I'm pretty immune to shaking at work. |
