A friend of mine received this tweet today:

I thought it was supposed to be cold and rainy today.

It's cold enough, but this whole "bright and sunny" thing kind of eliminates that whole "snow" thing. Although the paper said that for 90 seconds yesterday some fell, but I wasn't in this town yesterday, I was an hour drive away. Where it did not snow.

I could hang out here another day and get to go with my nephew's scout troop up to the snow tomorrow EXCEPT, I'm scheduled for a conference call Monday at like 1pm, which precludes being able to drive south Monday until after that time, which might not go over so well with hubby. Prob. should stick to original plan of driving like a bat outta hell tomorrow and making it south by the Oscars.

With the way the weather has been, it's probably best to just take it slower. I'm sure Alex would rather have you alive.

Which is why I won't be coming home Monday either, because he doesn't want me going over Grapevine after sunset in freezing temps. So now I'm driving home Tuesday. Which is fine too :)

There's a new family moving in next door - a young couple with two small children. It's too early to tell if they are going to be evil.

How can such a scrawny cat make such an awful stench?

Can someone recommend a skin moisturizer for men? I prefer something that doesn't leave a greasy feeling and especially don't want a heavy and/or girlie scent. Completely odorless would be ideal, but that's probably asking too much.
