Can I just say for the record that I don't like Girl Scout Cookies? I've tried them all. Bleh. I buy them and give them away because I like to support the Girl Scouts. But, I just don't enjoy their cookies. Toll House, shortbread and chocolate crinkles of the homemade variety rule.

Chocolate Crinkles!! I love Chocolate Crinkles, I grew up believing these were called Tina Cookie's because they were my favorite and my mom ALWAYS called them that. Imagine my surprise when I found out they were indeed called chocolate crinkles :( Disguy & I have had quite a few discussions of the cookie bliss of Toll HOuse lately. Yummmmmm |

You are sooo funny, Dsnylndmom. There are no girl scouts any where in Stockton? Not even in front of Mervyn's or Bel Air? The mint cookeis are my fav. |

A couple of years ago, a Girl Scout approached me in front of a Von's in La Habra (at least I think it was Von's - I don't remember) and was looking really, really sad. Her head was down and she lifted a can and asked me, 'Do you want to buy some Girl Scout Nuts?'
'Girls Scout nuts?' I asked her. 'You got shafted.' 'I know. Our troop is trying something new.' she said looking incredibly embarassed. I bought a can of peanut brittle or something from the table she was running with her mom. I don't remember ever eating it, it's probably still in the back of my friend's car... I just thought that was totally funny. Girl Scout nuts. No cookies. Nuts. :D True story. |

Feel free to buy as many as you like and send them to me. I'm happy to help you support this worthy cause. No, really, it's the least I can do. |
