Not Afraid 05-24-2006 02:51 PM

Wouldn't you like to know!

Lots of people in Hawai'i eat Spam. Can't touch the stuff. Yuck, too salty. Now I consider myself a brownie whore but 6 brownies? Oink oink, Leo.
:D

Salt would be the least of my concerns when it comes to Spam.....

For some reason Otter Pops just don't taste as good when you're 29 then they did when you were 9. :(

I tried one about a year ago and almost got instant diabetes by eating one. Too sweet. My parents were mad for letting me eat that as a kid! :D I also noticed that being in my thirties means I can't tolerate a lot of sweet stuff. Bleh.

All this talk of Spam reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen. How that woman could bake award-winning rolls and pies - sans recipe - and also serve fried spam sandwiches for lunch is beyond my comprehension. And she taught home ec - so who knows how many future generations were contaminated!

Although I do miss the fried bologna for breakfast. if you don't make slits along the side, it puffs up into a cone shape!

I ate something a few weeks ago that made my insides shake. I forget what it was. I suspect I'll end up eating it again.

I thought that spam was just for decoration.

It was. But, I ate the decor.
