Please tell us more about your Sea World day, Mr. Bear.

It was cooooooooold!
Seriously though, It was fun. We saw the Clydesdales, then did the Arctic thing - Beluga Whales, Polar Bears, Walruses. The Penguin building was closed, but they had some in a pool out front. Then lunch in the freezing cold at the Italian place (Why are there no indoor restaurants in Sea World?). By then, the sun came out. We saw the Dolphin show; we loved it. We saw the Sea Otters (they are so cute) and petted the dolphins (something I've always wanted to do). Then we spent an hour or so in the Hospitality Center - thawing out - before the Shamu show.
The Shamu show... That was... weird. There were so many spiritual overtones (the boy who carves a wooden whale tail, and then practically orgasms when he sees a real one out in the ocean, for one) that we had the feeling that we were attending services at the Temple of Shamu. And when everyone started in with the odd rhythmic "Shamu, Shamu, Shamu" chant -waving their arms around like extras in a bad B jungle movie - I was expecting them to drag out the sacrificial virgin an second. Creepy....
Anyway... I have pictures from the trip, if anyone is interested.
