Well, I was hoping that Farmer Hogett wasn't evil. Poor Jack. He needs a hug.

Jack needs to go to my room. I can make him forget all about his bad day...

Every time he says "my father" I keep wanting to say that is NOT your father! I think it would have been really funny if they had cast Donald Sutherland in the role of Jack's dad. I half way expected it when they first showed the tall white haired man from the back.

Worse 24 in two plus years. I saw everything coming from who would be the technician(although, I must admit, the picture was a nice touch), to Graem admiting to the "lesser" evil to cover for his father, and I even predicticted about 10 minutes before it happened that his father would kill his brother.

I trust that this isn't a trend though. The show should start to pick-up a little bit, maybe not next week but certainly by the week after.

Still my second favorite show on TV right now....my fave is back Wednesday night:)

They tried to get him, but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts.

As far as the predictability goes, I kind of see your point, but still I'm always expecting that there will be a twist, so it's almost like "we knew you would think we'd do X, and then you'd think we would do Y, so we did X to trick you!"

That sounds really lame, but I kind of think that at this point, nothing on 24 is predictable, except maybe that Jack will yell a lot and kick ass.

I did not know that. It would have been really funny, albiet distracting after the initial humor wore off. Though I'm not sure how much more distracting then his non-dad dad.

The initial stuff always seems to be predictable on some level. I am thinking there is going to be a huge twist - though perhaps a predictable one (someone in CTU is working for Fayid). Maybe Morris really is a bad guy.

Wasn't Chad Lowe supposed to be on last week? And what happened to Rick(y) Schroder?

You're probably right. If I recall, early mid-season last year was kinda predictable too, then BAM!

Things are not looking good for Milo. I think he might be next to take a dip in the Dead Pool.

I think it would be fun to watch this show with a heart monitor on.

Next week:

Spoiler:
It's Grizzly Logan!

Holy Freakin' Cow. I didn't see that coming.

And you know what I'm still wondering? In the first episode when Jack gets off the plane, the Chinese guy says "your President paid a high price for him". What was the high price, and how will it end up playing into the season?

What didn't you see coming? The reappearance of that guy? Unfortunately, I had heard he would return.

I am nodding my head at the "high price" comment. I've been wondering that too. That's destined to rear its ugly head at some point...
