I'm not really looking forward to this part of their trip, but I will be brave and give it a shot. Maybe it will be good on some of the absolutely awesome asiago cheese bread from Noe Valley Bakery? Only time will tell.

I don't know if I'd be brave enough to try vegemite. And I would never put any exotic meats in my mouth (go ahead, please joke for me. I'm stale today). I'm really the most pickiest eater EVER. I almost don't like anything that doesn't come from a Starbucks, gas station or convenience store, and that's pretty icky in and of itself. Beef jerkey & power bars, we love thee.

Having said that, I like icky things like caviar & salmon roe, but I feel guilty eating it as it pops on my tongue (more innuendo-laden material for you all to enjoy). ;)

Everytime I think of vegemite, I think of it being in sandwich form ala the Men At Work lyrics.
:)

My hairdresser just got back from Australia - had a wonderful time, and came to enjoy Vegemite on her morning toast. In fact, she tried to bring some back but, they wouldn't let her - something about FDA restrictions - so Kudos to the Lashes for allowing us to partake in what must have been assumed their "personal use" supply ;)

Hahahah, 500 single-serving packs!? (Well, for 2 Aussies on 6-week holiday ... perhaps that passes for personal use.)

Well....saw the Boys last night. Ponine and Capt. Jack met up with the Lashes and my Hubster and I.

Now, first off, I was happy to meet Capt. Jack. Ponine was quite more relaxed than the last time we met {when she was event co-ordinator extraordinaire at Comic-Con} and it was nice to spend time with her in this state.

The Boys shared with us their adventures so far in San Diego. The Gaslamp, the Del, and Mt. Helix. They found these places with their Fisher Price map. :D Their excitement over my little city really was good to see. Living here can take the shine off sometimes.

Tomorrow Ponine heads off with them to TJ. I wonder if they'll take a picture on a donkey? Hmm....

{so far so good on missing the vegemite....:p }
