Thanks for the link, NA.

Well, I think she does look beautiful. Quite wispy and I love the vintage style clothes {wtf is that parachute skirt? A joke, right????}. Her make up is, of course, lovely.

But, I wonder what she looks like in person. The camera adds pounds...

I think you could tie two of Keira in a bundle and she wouldnt add up to Monica Bellucci. Im thinking she'd look a little odd sporting those anyway.

I still think shes fine as is

Much better!

Early reviews are not looking good. Rotten Tomatoes has it at a 40% rating. Yikes.

Early tomatoes always seem to be a bit sour. So I won't panic yet.

The good news for me is expectations. Since the last movie was worse than month old chum, I'm not expecting much from this one other than to get the kids off my back about seeing it. So it won't have to reach very high to meet my expectations for it.

Perhaps Disney should have just paid off Royce Mathew to help write the script for the second and third movies.

Pirates 3: At World's End

I am waiting a week or two maybe three. Since i will be leaving for Vegas on Friday morning. Now i do have to be up at 6am and since i work on Thursday evening til 10:30pmish i can not get to the midnite screening like i originally hoped i could. No big deal for me. I really want to see it but i've heard good and bad and if it is worse than the 2nd one which i've been had some insight into then i'm not gonna be a happy camper. It's like do 1 film and no sequels. It seems the sequels never outshine the oringial first movie anyways.

Apparently she also loves to smell. :(

She was quoted in several magazines this week as saying that she doesn't shower as often as one should, and that she often smells rather "musky".

I'd rather she smelled "musty". Then her natural scent would match that of the Pirates Of The Carribean attraction at Disneyland, and really, how fitting & awesome would that be?

I think Keira Knightly is absolutely adorable but skipping many a shower when you can most likey afford one made of diamonds is a tad bit rancid.

Musky, musty or whatever. It's all stank ass to me.

innerSpaceman 05-23-2007 03:48 PM

Ew. Maybe Keira can hook up with that other bathing-challenged celeb Ethan Hawke, and they can be the couple that zlick once lusted after ... but, um, no thanks. skanks.

BTW: Crappy reviews for Pirates 3 in today's L.A. Times and Daily Variety.

innerSpaceman 05-24-2007 12:27 PM

Oh, and I've read a ton of crappy reviews today.

Apparently, the movie is waaaay too long (nearly 3 hours), convoluted, confusing, unfunny, boring, grim-looking, and a total frelling mess.

More than one reviewer commented on the unexpectedly dull and constant exposition, but I like best the way Nathan Lee phrased it in the Village Voice.

Hahahahaha.

So, I won't be watching this one night on Netflix after all.

(I divide boring 3-hour movies over 2 nights.)
