I'm looking forward to some windows that we can actually open rather than the current ones we have now which the previous owner painted and nailed shut.

I don't get why people do that. :confused:

Our apartment has a decent window layout. Windows on each side wall to allow for a cross breeze. My bedroom on the other hand gets stuffy quickly. I keep the window open but have to keep the door shut to keep the KITTY! out.

Painted shut usually just means that whoever did the painting was sloppy and careless. Nailed shut? Gotta be issues there.
