Do they have to be fiction?

No phone books. Heh. And referably nothing too horribly damaged. A coffee stained cover, no problem. Water-logged because your house flooded, maybe not.
They can be books you read and hated. Books you read, enjoyed, but probably won't read again and would rather not keep around taking up space. I love books and I have ones I'll never give up, but I'm not exactly a collector. I've always clung to my books - wanted to own them, show them off - but I'm trying to de-clutter, be less attached to things I don't really need. I want to keep the books I'll re-read, the ones I'd like to share but ultimately have returned. But there are some I have just because I read them once upon a time, and so they are being wasted. Aesthetically I enjoy seeing books I've read or plan to read around. But I don't own a home and I will move again someday, and I don't want to keep packing up and moving books I'll never read again.
Etc.
