I remember reading in Science Digest in the mid 70's when it was predicted that more than half of all households would own a computer. I was picturing those big real-to-real tape drives that you fed punch cards to that you saw in the NASA films of the 60s, thinking, "yeah, right! Where would anyone put those things!"
