Weird, Lani for some reason wants to try and get down there before it closes. So maybe we will do it after all.

Though we'll never dine in the restaurant again. Being forced to converse with someone trying to be a Ferengi was one of the most awkward annoying things I've ever experienced.

One could always go in with the up-front knowledge that this was going to be happen and be prepared to annoy the heck out of the character.

I could actually see you doing that.

LOL- the ferengi when we were there was my favorite. The Borg and the Klingon were painful.

I don't know about that. There's a lot of cross-pollination of theme parks and movie studios. Just a brief list:

1) Paramount's property, Indiana Jones, at Disney's parks
2) Warner's property, Harry Potter, at Universal's park
3) Fox's property, The Simpsons, at Universal's park
4) Fox's [original] property, Star Wars, at Disney's park
5) MGM's property, Wizard of Oz et al, at Disney's park
6) Sony's property, Spiderman, at Universal's park
7) Fox's property, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, at Universal's park for Halloween
8) Paramount's [original] property, Psycho, at Universal's park
9) MGM's property, Child's Play, at Universal's park for Halloween
10) Orion/MGM/Columbia Tristar's property, Terminator, at Universal's park

And that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there's loads more.

No, to do that would require the very thing I don't want to do: talk to strangers wearing silly costumes.

Plus, why would I go out of my way to make life difficult for some poorly paid teenager or wannabe actor trying to squeeze out a few bucks? I don't blame them for it. Nice to know you can actually see me being an asshole.

[As that previous paragraph suggests, I have no problem being an asshole with people I actually know.]

Not all the time, just having the capability.

I should have said that I could see myself doing that as well.

Hey, Wil Wheaton's actually a fun read.

And he's got that cool clown sweater!

BTW, ThinKrisps were used in an episode of Enterprise as alien food!

Wow, really?

Actually, Spiderman at Universal comes from a licensing deal with Marvel
