Several years ago, Denny's canned Clam Chowder won the Pismo Beach Clam Chowder competition. It was quite embarrassing to a lot of people.

PS/ The Princess must give good clam to get a chain named after her...besides, it sounds better than the Pizmo Bride or the Clam Bride.

The Pismo clam chowder place now has a cafe thingy in SLO.
