Actually, I am in a job I enjoy. Even when I find my gripes and groans (usually due to stupidity on my part... even if in small part... I've learned in these past couple of months to try harder to come up with my own solutions, and find compromise, even when it's difficult.)

I actually have learned to appreciate my skillz, and have been able to apply them in interesting and unusual ways.

Didn't happen, either. Never could come up with the money or time. However, we are officially taking up snowshoeing with our own gear. We loved it the few times we went, but are tired of renting sub-par gear. Stuff should arrive tomorrow!!

Went to Florida, but never got around to scuba diving, though we intended to. There was just so much going on. I'm hoping to do it this upcoming September.

I have been looking, but just haven't felt anything worthy of committing to. I think we'll be doing something over this next year. It's the right time to be in a position to buy.

As for 2009 - no resolutions, really. Just have more fun. I had plenty o' good times and bad in '08, so I should just try to make '09 even better. I mean, why not?

I'm going to get a sewing machine this year and at least learn how to hem. Then I can make tablecloths and curtains. For a few years I find myself saying, "I could make that if I had a sewing machine and could sew." 2009, look out! It's sewing year!
