He didn't have to have surgery! But he is in a cast - a giant blue smurf cast. And he's NOT happy about it. He's got to be crated for a month. But, no surgery and it was quite a bit cheaper (thank god!).

Crated for a MONTH? :( Poor guy. Glad it isn't too bad though.

Well, he will be taken out and played with and petted. But, for the most part, he's on light duty. And, he's on a diet.

Poor kitty. Well, at least this will help him get better. I hope he doesn't try to attack his own cast.

I keep reading this thread as Ankle Broke His Scoundrel. But I suppose he'd rather be dyslexic than cast-bound and crated up.

That is great that he didn't need surgery but he's going to be stir crazy before his confiment is up...lots of hugs and petting and once in a while a nom nom treat...even if he is on a diet.

Give him extra pettins and belly rubs for me!

And, the diet is probably a good thing... poor guy!

I hate to add insult to scoundrel's injury, but, if he's willing, I'd love to see a photo of the poor thing as he's convalescing.
